Description
- 
Day to day management of business performance, ensuring it meets customer needs, is regulatory compliant and drives profitable and sustainable growth.
- 
Development of the loans business strategy and identification of future product opportunities.
- 
Cross-functional working ( e.g. with finance, credit risk, compliance, change) in their application to loans.
- 
Set up and ongoing management of a number of third party relationships.
- 
Communication of thinking and rationale to all levels of the organisation.
- 
Creation and development of own product team.
Responsibilities
- 
Excited by the opportunity of setting up and growing a new product line.
- 
Experience within a regulated consumer finance business, ideally in managing commercial product performance and/or product development.
- 
Experience in working directly with third-party providers.
- 
A hands-on manager who is not afraid to ‘roll up their sleeves' and wade into the detail to support and drive the team.
- 
An approach to solving issues that is inherently collaborative and non-hierarchical.
- 
A strong academic background and be highly analytical, numerate and commercial.
